TESTIMONIALS

"I don’t mean to boast about these accomplishments I am discussing. They are only being mentioned to show you that you don’t have to be depressed about what has happened to you. If you have been wronged, give us a chance to help you."

Storm Armstrong, Unscrewed Founder

Dealerships

A man was very upset because he had purchased a minivan, and the transmission went out on it. He wanted to know if Storm could help him. Storm questioned him to see if he had purchased any warranty with the van. He has not. Storm asked if he had contacted the dealership he had purchased it from, and he said he had, but they just turned him away. After Storm looked at his deal, he made a recommendation to him. The man tried the advice given and let Storm know that he had gotten a transmission put in his van for free!

Insurance

A gentleman came to Storm seeking help because he felt he wasn’t given a fair shake from the insurance company. His truck caught on fire and was destroyed. Storm took on the case and was able to get him $2,500.00 more because of what he shared with the truck owner about the cause of the fire. The gentleman was very grateful.

We had a client who was having a machinist lathe delivered. The tow truck driver caused the machine to fall off the rollback and broke the machine up really bad. The client needed this machine for a job to do a major job for a large transportation company. The client even told the insurance company they had to have another machine right away and if they did not get the funding within a week, they would expect the insurance company to cover their loss. The insurance company ignored our client and left them in a bad way. We were able to step in and get the client unscrewed by the insurance company and was able to collect extra money along with getting the money for another machine to do their work.

Another client crashed a Mack log tractor and tore it up pretty bad. The client kept waiting for information to get the truck repaired. The insurance company took their good old time and then came forward and said they were going to total the truck and give the client only what the book value was. We stepped in and forced the insurance company to pay the client a fair value to fix this truck. Actually, instead of 3,800.00 to total the truck, they received 75,00.00 to repair the truck.

Storm Tackles Big Corporate Greed and Wins Big for a Suffering Family Business

One day Storm called to check on his old friend he hadn't heard from in a while. He learned from the friend's mother that he was really having a hard time with the reality of shutting down his late father’s trucking business. The mother asked Storm if he would come see him and help him figure out a solution to what he was facing. Storm agreed to do that.

When Storm arrived at his friend's property, he found him to be very despondent about all that was happening. Storm started the conversation saying, I would like to help you and I feel confident I can do so. Storm asked his friend, do you want to try and keep the trucking company open and running, his friend responded, no, we are finished. Storm said, tell me what all you are facing as far as debt, taxes, etc. His friend explained that Conagra Frozen Foods had destroyed the family’s confidence in seeing a future in transportation business.

Storm asked to see the company’s books. His friend provided the books and gave some verbal run down of where the company stood related to taxes first. He stated that the family owes the IRS 75K and they are starting to put pressure on the family. Storm asked if they owe parts companies and other companies related to the business and was told that we owe many people.

Storm went through the books and started breaking down various documents that could help the family. He found many discrepancies related to what Conagra was saying about the Trucking Company. Storm was able to find key evidence that Conagra owes the family money. He was able to prove upfront at least that Conagra owed them75K. Storm contacted Conagra and told them he was looking into the trucking company records and what he had found. Conagra asked Storm if he would send the documents of proof.

Two days later a law firm out of New Orleans called and spoke with his friend and said, we understand that Conagra owes you money, and was told yes, they do. They said, we can help you and your family. Let me talk to Storm and see what he says about this. The next day, Storm spoke with his friend and was told about how this law firm wanted to help. Storm m said, think about it, they had no idea of your dilemma until I contacted Conagra two days ago. Storm said, they are coming to you from Conagra to try and convince you that you have no case. His friend said, I spoke with the family and they said you're not a lawyer and now has a law firm that is willing to take this case over for free and help us collect money form Conagra. Storm said, OK, you will have to see for yourself that this is nothing but a scam. Storm said, there is good evidence I can send them for you, we will give them two weeks to get an answer for you and the family, do you agree, his friend said yes. Storm sent the info to the law firm, and the wait was on. Two weeks later the law firm called the family and advised them that they had no case against Conagra. The family was down in the dumps. His friend contacted Storm and told him what the law firm had said. Storm said, I told you it was a scam. Now, do you want me told collect your money?

His friend said, do your thing. Storm replied, I already have a great amount of time in this and he wanted to know if the family is going to let him finish the job with no more distractions, His friend agreed that the family would let Storm finish the job.

Storm contacted the IRS and verified that the family owed 75K in back taxes. When the proof was pulled together that the taxes were owed, Storm contacted the IRS again and told them he had proof that the family was owed 75K, the IRS wanted proof, and Storm sent them the documents of proof. Two days later the IRS went to Conagra and got a check from them FOR $75.000.00...

Now this cleared the family of their taxes completely. They were so happy and relieved. The chore ahead was to sell all the trucks and trailers to get the family out of all their financial obligations.

Companies to Avoid! Credit Cards

A highly qualified, certified mechanic (former shop supervisor for a large reputable company) was screwed over by Square, the credit card processing company. Allegedly, Ahmed Matan and Fadumoesh Ali of Smartway Trucking LLC/General Xpress Trucking LLC, transportation companies, claimed the card charge was fraudulent after they had the repairs done and gave the card to this man for processing. Here are two bad actors that are being exposed.

Square was presented with email strings between this mechanic and the above individuals that prove the work was done to the truck. Square still chose to help the crooks get by.

Fraudulent Card Usage

Credit card fraud is the unauthorized use of a credit card account for purposes of stealing goods or money. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), which tracks financial crimes nationwide, logged 426,038 complaints of credit card fraud in 2023.
